Our minds are the stairways to our dreams

Although at times our minds have the capability to play tricks on us. Guiding us Un-mercilessly into darkened corners where our fears and darkest secrets lie, it also is a place that can lead us to every dream we could imagine. Such is the power of the mind that faith in something is often more powerful than any other emotion. This is not only clear with religion, but also with people in all kinds of cultures that believe in things that are not visible to the eye.

The balance of the mind is something we always try to balance, good against evil, right against wrong, trying or hiding are all just elements that in one split second mean we move closer or further away from our perceived goal. Your mind can take you to the darkest corners or the brightest peaks of our existence. It all depends on the driver and where you want your journey to take you. The journey will always be interesting and will learn things along the way, what you see along that path though is up to you. Have a creative day.

  1. I thought I’m in the doorway of heaven
with that book architecture! I so love it!
I’m impressed too with Naomi’s poster
I admire people who can pull together that kind of art
    — they can see the big picture!

    1. I did think that you would like the book architecture! I love your view of the bigger picture, it’s always clear. Thanks Take care Alan.

  2. You are truly a gifted writer…your post today is so very true. I think the book I wrote was born out of the hope and belief that beyond this world there will be no more tears or sadness…just an eternity filled with absolute love…each day bringing us closer to that moment. I love the black and white photo, first in the third row and the workmen on the eclair, third in first row! 🙂

  3. Your words are very generous, thank you. The little workmen on the éclair I liked because of the humor and just the way someone has looked at something in a different way has given a complete new perspective on an eclair! Good luck with your book, hope your agent is getting their act together! Take care Alan.

  4. The mind is indeed very powerful and a very wonderful thing. I think that is why I like to read so much, because in my mind, I can drift off to places. I started reading at a very young age… because in my mind it was like being with the characters and escaping into their world for a while. I probably had more imaginary characters growing up than anyone had a right to have because I read so very much. Reading helps my imagination grow, and my mind explore new worlds. You can experience so much in a book that a movie can’t even get close to.

  5. I couldn’t agree more Seth and trust me you are not alone with the characters you had growing up. I have always been able to just lose myself in my imagination and travel to distance worlds or experiences, maybe I did this too much in my life rather than in the real world. But there is always time to act. I do not like watching a film after I have read the book, it can never live up to that personal experience you have lost in the pages of your mind. Thanks Seth, Take care Alan.

Thank you for reading, Would love to hear your thoughts...
